Blueberries

…are often referred to as a super food because they are an excellent source dietary fibers and vitamins C, K, A,E and vitamins of the B group.  They also contain valuable minerals such as iron, manganese, phosphorus and potassium.   I like to call them “Blue Dynamos”

…are within the Vaccinium genus which also includes cranberries and huckleberries.  

…are low in calories and incredibly healthy. Eating blueberries can benefit the heart and brain.

Blueberries can be eaten fresh and can also be frozen or juiced. They are great in a variety of baked goods, jams and jellies.
